New rewards rates on travel spending and a plethora of other new benefits are now part of the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. The card received a massive overhaul on June 23, giving cardmembers who applied for the card on or before June 23 these new benefits and features, which go into effect Oct. 26 and will then be charged to the new annual fee when cardmembers next renew their card.

Upgrades include new rewards earning rates. Now, cardmembers receive eight times the points on all Chase Travel purchases, replacing the five times points earned on flights and 10 times points earned on hotels and car rentals booked through Chase Travel; four times the points on flights and hotels booked directly, replacing the three times the points on all travel; $500 annual The Edit credit, Chase Travel’s collection of more than 1,100 handpicked hotels and resorts; Points Boost, the new points redemption accelerator program; complimentary IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite Status; exclusive dining benefits, including $300 annual dining credit and primetime reservations at Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables; three times the points on all dining purchases worldwide; and access to the Summer, Reserved series.
Cardmembers will also continue to receive $300 annual travel credit; $120 Global Entry, TSA PreCheck or Nexus credit every four years; access to Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club network of airport lounges; and complimentary access to Reserve Travel Designers.
