This past weekend I traveled to West Palm Beach and Jupiter, Fla., for a wedding. Having only been to Boca Raton and Orlando before, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect.
When we got off the airplane and walked outside, I knew I would love West Palm Beach. The weather and scenery was gorgeous — not that I expected anything less. Once we started driving, I realized what was in store for the weekend. We drove over numerous bridges and admired the giant yachts docked at their slips and the beautiful white-stoned buildings.
The Breakers Palm Beach blocked off hotel rooms for the wedding. I heard amazing things about the luxury resort and looked online to find pictures but was still astonished when I arrived. The lobby was huge and old fashioned with murals covering the entire ceiling and plenty of plush chairs for those wishing to relax.
Upon check-in, the attendant greeted us with a smile, and the entire process took no more than five minutes. The rooms were very nice but not over-the-top. The beauty of this resort was in the private beach and multiple pools. The Breakers is a great place to relax, eat and have fun. I would highly recommend making a visit!
