The St. Regis San Francisco recently debuted a Lunar New Year-themed The Art of Tea to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. Available for only a few more days, through Feb. 25, the afternoon menu boasts Asian-inspired sweet and savory items, a selection of tea and a complimentary welcome toast with Champgane Lallier R.018.
Offered Thursday through Sunday 2–4 p.m., the tea, served in The St. Regis San Francisco Tea Salon, is by reservation only, available on OpenTable. The Lunar New Year Signature Art of Tea costs $150 per person, with bottles of sparkling wine or Champagne available for an additional fee.

Menu items include Peking duck, xiao long bao, har gao, chicken potstickers, and mushroom and spinach dumplings. On the sweeter side, attendees enjoy black sesame mochi scones, matcha rolls, rose water choux and tropical tarts.
All tea at The St. Regis San Francisco comes from luxury tea blender TEALEAVES, which curated unique tea blends for the Lunar New Year-inspired offering. The menu offers Pu-Erh Tou Cha, a loose-leaf black tea low in tannins with a thick, smooth, earthy flavor; Imperial Dragonwell, a famous Chinese green tea from Hangzhou; Organic Jasmine Pearl, a hand-rolled, loose-leaf white tea; and Iron Goddess of Mercy, a prized oolong tea with a rich history.
