In 2025, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts officially makes its debut in Crete with the opening of Rosewood Blue Palace. The property will be a reincarnation of Crete’s distinguished Blue Palace with 154 rooms and suites, an Asaya spa and several specialty restaurants. The new hotel will also include a beach club, fitness center and other on-property offerings.
Located between the fishing village of Plaka and the port of Elounda, Rosewood Blue Palace’s guestrooms and suites feature interiors designed by K-Studio, embracing Cretan tradition and identity. Eighty-five of these accommodations come with private pools for elevated seclusion.

The resort’s six restaurants and bars offer an array of cuisines and experiences. Dining programs include several specialty restaurants and a beach club, as well as an all-day restaurant sourcing fresh produce from local purveyors and the property’s on-site organic garden.
Guests of the property will also have access to luxury wellness escape Asaya, Rosewood’s holistic well-being concept. Here, guests can enjoy time at the fitness center, movement studio, yoga pavilion and dedicated areas to explore hydrotherapy treatments. Three outdoor pools overlooking the sea also await.
