Rosewood Hotels & Resorts recently announced Rosewood Amaala, slated to open in the Red Sea Region of Saudi Arabia. The property will lie among the world’s fourth-largest reef and the Hijazi mountains, with wellness at the forefront of the design.

Rosewood Amaala will include 110 guestrooms and suites, as well as 25 luxury Rosewood Residences. The property will also boast several distinct culinary experiences, such as fine-dining restaurants, beach-inspired club lounges and casual eateries. Guests of the resort will also enjoy access to an Asaya Spa and two rock pools. The rock pools provide guests with safe access to the water and sand while also protecting the coral reefs wrapping around the resort.

The hotel, designed by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, strives to be powered by 100 percent renewable energy with a zero-carbon footprint. Asaya Spa will serve as a focal point of the resort, hidden away among the rolling landscape, offering private treatment pavilions where guests can relax and rejuvenate.
The new Rosewood property follows several Rosewood properties slated to open in the Middle East, including Rosewood Doha (2023), Rosewood Riyadh (2025) and Rosewood Red Sea.
