The adventure begins in Copenhagen, where participants on International Adventure Guides June cycling adventure in Denmark begin by exploring canals, dining on world-class cuisine and continuing with a guided bike tour of the city’s attractions.

Riders will visit one of Copenhagen’s world-class museums, enjoy the thrills of one of the world’s oldest amusement parks and shop on one of the longest pedestrian-only streets in Europe.

Tour participants will then travel by train to the historic Danish city of Aarhus, founded in the early Viking Age and well-known for its art and architecture. The group will visit ARoS Art Museum, get a private bike tour of the city, walk the streets of the restoration village of Den Gamle By and enjoy drinks at the rooftop lounge of Salling department store.

Continuing westward, riders will journey to the coast of Jutland and the North Sea, spending two days cycling on e-bikes along the coast through quaint villages and pastoral landscapes. Participants will stay in comfortable boutique hotels and have their luggage transported by van between stays. Don’t worry, we keep the biking mileage to between 20–30 per day, so there will be plenty of time to stop at the beach, chat with locals and enjoy great meals.

After reaching the beach resort town of Nørre Vorupør, riders will relax for the night and travel back to Copenhagen the following day for another night in the Danish capital. Some will choose to fly home the next day, while others will take advantage of Copenhagen’s convenient location and add on a tour of Norway, Sweden, Germany or The Netherlands.

This Denmark cycling adventure is family friendly, with mostly flat bike paths, and is a great way to see the beauty of this Scandinavian treasure. The tour runs June 9–16, with a maximum group size of 12 persons. The tour costs $2,595 per person.

Hyatt Centric Las Olas Review

Today’s Fort Lauderdale is not the one you or your older relatives experienced in college; while beachfront surf shops along Fort Lauderdale Boulevard recall that colorful Spring Break era, Las Olas Boulevard embodies the city’s recent glow-up, particularly after the pandemic. In fact, it was spring 2020 when Hyatt Centric Las Olas opened its doors and played a major role in reshaping and rethinking Fort Lauderdale as a relaxed but lively vacation or business destination.

Now’s the Time to See Giza, the Nile and Beyond

All archaeology-obsessed eyes turned hopefully toward Egypt earlier this year when the highly anticipated Grand Egyptian Museum outside Cairo finally began welcoming visitors after construction delays, funding roadblocks and political upheaval in the region (among other factors) conspired to keep things delayed for many long years. The museum’s cherry on the top is slated to open this summer, with the July opening of the museum’s 20-plus-years-in-the-making Tutankhamen galleries and accompanying cache of some 5,000 artifacts and treasures from the boy king’s tomb.
