The largest hotel operator in Australia extends its presence with the opening of Mercure Hotel in Cairns, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. The new hotel features 75 spacious guestrooms, as well as a new, modern Australian restaurant, The Stanley.

Following a multimillion-dollar upgrade and rebrand, the property also now boasts a pool deck, allowing guests to soak in the landscape of this coastal hot spot. The Stanley, situated on the ground floor of the hotel, brings fresh and local produce to the table, with indoor/outdoor spaces that seamlessly transition from day to night.
