The Jersey Shore’s newest boutique hotel arrives in Bradley Beach, New Jersey, in time for fall. Sitting on the Atlantic coast, the 118-year-old property underwent an extensive restoration to feature a 16-room main house and a three-bedroom standalone bungalow. The James also features seasonal beach service and locally inspired food and beverages.
Rooms see a combination of vintage pieces sourced both locally and internationally and custom fabrications designed by Sebastian Zuchowicki. Guests also find tables, lamps and 20-panel white oak folding screens handmade by owner George DiStefano himself.

In addition to these carefully constructed rooms, The James also offers guests exclusive access to the neighboring beach, which lies just a two-minute walk away. In the summer, The James offers a beach concierge service for guests to enjoy the use of sun loungers, umbrellas, beach games and towels.
For dining, the hotel’s 22-seat dining room and 24-seat private garden dining area offer breakfast, snacks and coffee daily. Inspired by local ingredients, dishes range from pork rolls to homemade granolas to freshly baked crumb cake, muffins and pastries. The James’ other features include amenities by Flamingo Estate, in-room massages and more.
