Last week was National Plan for Vacation Day, and we took a social media poll to see where our followers were planning to go on vacation this year! I also asked my colleagues where they were planning or hoping to travel this year.
I don’t have any vacations planned this year except for my family’s yearly summer vacation to Ocean City, New Jersey. I hope to travel more this year, whether it be weekend trips to closer destinations or longer trips.
Last year I checked some destinations off my bucket list, like Disneyland and Virginia Beach, and this year I am hoping to check off a few more.
One place I hope to get to this year is Cape Cod, Massachusetts, especially during the spring or summertime. I love the thought of exploring a coastal town during the summer. I have been wanting to go for a while now, so I hope this is the year!
Another closer destination I want to get to is Florida. Although I have already been to these destinations before, I want to go to Clearwater for Phillies Spring Training and Walt Disney World for the 50th anniversary.
Other destinations I am hoping to check off my list are Tulum, Mexico; Seattle, Washington; and Nashville, Tennessee.
