The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles and TableMation Studios opened “Le Petit Chef: An Immersive Dining Experience.” The culinary adventure unfolds in front of guests’ eyes without glasses or equipment needed and is held in the panoramic dining room on the hotel’s 24^th floor. This is the West Coast premiere of TableMation’s newest animation dining presentation, “How to Become the World’s Greatest Chef.”

“The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles is excited to bring this unique dining experience, which is unlike any other, to the city. As a luxury hotel that leads with innovation, we want to offer guests this captivating, narrative show that will make diners feel as though they just stepped into another reality,” Javier Cano, hotel general manager, said.

Guests go on a multisensory, five-course culinary journey led by Le Petit Chef, a 3-D animated character appearing on every table. During the two-hour show, diners take a trip through time with a story about the history, inspiration and ingredients for each course. The culinary creations are served in unison by a carefully choreographed The Ritz-Carlton staff; state-of-the-art 4-k projectors are above each table. Chefs from The Culinary Institute of America at Copia collaborated on the menu, with a wine pairing to accompany. An interactive dessert finishes off the multicourse meal.

Reservations are available on OpenTable. Price per person is $145; the wine pairing is $35 per person. Available Thursday–Sunday, shows start at 7 p.m.
