Foxwoods Resort Casino Creates First-Ever 55+ Casino

Foxwoods Resort Casino announced one of its five gaming floors is exclusively offered to guests ages 55 and up. The safe, sanitized, socially distanced Rainmaker Casino at Foxwoods will be open 10 a.m.–midnight every weekend in November. Foxwoods is the first and only casino in the United States offering this experience for guests 55 and older.

“As part of our commitment to providing an unmatched experience for our guests, we are thrilled to introduce this new offering for guests ages 55 and older,” said Jason Guyot, interim CEO and senior vice president of Resort Operations, Foxwoods. “The safety of our loyal patrons has been our number one priority since reopening on June 1, and we are excited to offer them this exclusive experience where they can relax and play in a safe, frequently sanitized environment.”

Special entertainment offerings for these guests includes a DJ spinning the best of the 1980s every Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m.–midnight; complimentary cocktails during play; exclusive radio giveaways every Friday and Saturday 12–2 p.m., and 6–8 p.m., where guests can enter to win 80s-themed prize packages; and special Fox Perx rewards for Foxwoods Rewards Members.

Foxwoods is the largest resort casino in North America, offering a premier destination resort experience with six casinos, more than 2,200 hotel guestrooms, numerous dining options, spas, golf, theaters, the Tanger Outlet Mall and conference space. Opened in 1992, Foxwoods is owned and operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.
