The Kimpton Pittman Hotel opens today, Aug. 12, in one of Dallas’ most historic buildings in the Deep Ellum neighborhood, as the first hotel in that section of the city.
The hotel is housed in the historic Knights of Pythias Temple, designed in 1916 by Black architect and son-in-law of Booker T. Washington, William S. Pittman. The Kimpton Pittman Hotel boasts 165 residential-style guestrooms, Atelier Bloem bath amenities, a 24-hour fitness center and a ground-level outdoor pool.
Elm & Good, located off the main lobby, is a modern American tavern with Chef Graham Dodds at the helm. A selection of local beers, wines and craft cocktails is curated by lead mixologist Gregory Huston. The hotel also features 8,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.
