The Hyatt Regency brand returns to Cairo with the anticipated 2020 opening of Hyatt Regency Cairo West. The property is aimed at both business and leisure travelers with its close proximity to Pyramids Heights Business Park, diverse corporations and landmarks such as the Pyramids of Giza.
Property plans include nearly 250 guestrooms and suites, all with decor inspired by Egyptian culture and history. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the pyramids and the hotel pool and gardens. Room amenities range from smart mirrors to sensor lighting control. Public spaces include five dining options, a fitness center and casino.
“We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Hyatt brand to Cairo and are focused on the increased tourism figures and continued development in and around the capital city,” said Ludwig Bouldoukian, regional vice president of development, Middle East and North Africa, Hyatt. “Hyatt Regency Cairo West will be a great addition to our growing portfolio in North Africa as we anticipate the hotel will become a destination where both business and leisure travelers can stay connected and energized throughout their stay.”
