From the clear waters of the Caribbean to the warm seas of the Indian Ocean, these three resorts promise fun and unique experiences beyond swimming. Make this summer one to remember at these properties:
Floating Meals in the Maldives
At Sun Siyam Iru Veli, you can enjoy two signature guest experiences: Floating Delights and Private Lagoon Breakfast. The Floating Delight experience sees a floating marvel of food arrive by request to the villa, suite or private beach day or night. Whether you choose a sunrise breakfast with an ocean view, midday snack by the pool or evening aperitif under the stars, there’s something for all. Choose from tropical fruits, buttery pastries, crafted sushi rolls and more made at the property. The Floating Delight experience can be booked by calling or messaging the island butler. The Private Lagoon Breakfast sets the scene for a peaceful morning seaside with a sumptuous breakfast in the villa’s private garden or by the water.
Yoga by the Sea in St. Barts
Take part in a transformative journey of self-discovery against the backdrop of St. Barts at Hotel Manapany’s 16th annual Summer Camp Yoga Challenge & Yoga University. Running July 11–Aug. 11, guests will learn to identify inner strengths and overcome challenges through yoga, meditation and holistic self-care. Under the expert guidance of Diana Bourel, founder, Art of Self Care, this year’s theme of The Hero’s Myth offers 25 weekly classes and activities, many seaside.
See Starfish, Whales and Reptiles in South Caicos
Offering unparalleled luxury and tranquility in Turks and Caicos, Sailrock South Caicos takes it one step further with exciting water excursions. Embark on a snorkeling adventure to visit and wade among Starfish Alley, as well as spot sand dollars and coral reefs teeming with tropical fish. A short swim away also lies Iguana Island, home to a friendly group of reptiles eager to enjoy a visitor’s offering of fruits or vegetables from Sailrock’s kitchens. Visitors can even collect uninhabited conch shells, which the resort will clean and wrap to take home. Take a kayak out to the sandbars, listen to the seabirds and watch for sea life below. Between January and April, spot North Atlantic humpback whales heading south.
