World airline and airport star rating program Skytrax recently unveiled its 2024 list of the world’s cleanest airports. Skytrax also awards titles like best airport in the world, best airport staff and best new airport terminal.

“Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the standards of airport cleanliness have become much more important to customers and airports maintaining these highest standards are well featured in the best airport cleanliness results,” Skytrax said on its website.

This year’s cleanest airport in the world is Tokyo Haneda Airport in Japan. Also named the No. 4 best airport in the world by Skytrax in another recent award, Tokyo Haneda Airport is a certified 5-star airport.

Four Japanese airports made the top 10 cleanest airports in the world this year, including Chubu Centrair International Airport, Nagoya (No. 5); Tokyo Narita International Airport (No. 6); and Kansai International Airport (No. 7).

Althoff Grand Hotel Schloss Bensberg Review

After a long drive from our previous destination, it was a relief to see Althoff Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg in our view.
