Argentina’s famed wine-growing culture reaches a zenith in Mendoza. Plan a tour tailored to your needs while staying in gorgeous hotels, lodges or resorts.

Enjoy the private Wine Tasting with a Sommelier excursion during a half-day tour that begins in a private wine cellar located in Mendoza City. Available year-round, the tour includes a wine tasting with three wines you’ll select yourself, a private tutorial offered in English, Spanish or Portuguese, a cheese platter and private transportation.

During the four-day, three-night Uco Valley Wine and Spa Tour in the Uco Valley Wine Producing Region, participants will enjoy transfers to and from the airport; modern transportation; a welcome dinner; a private, full-day wine tasting tour of three wineries; one bottle of sparkling wine per person (during the full-day tour); mineral water; gourmet lunch with wine pairing; spa treatments; and a farewell dinner. The tour includes an English-speaking guide.

The full-day Picnic in the Vineyards and Wineries of Mendoza tour takes place year-round from Monday through Friday, with a guide, private visits to two vineyards, tastings of mid-range wines, mineral water and a picnic basket filled with ingredients, including wine and individually sized sparkling wine.

Prefer an active tour? Consider the half-day guided Sunset Horseback Ride through the Vineyards in Luján de Cuyo in the Central wine-producing region. The tour includes transportation, a visit to two wineries, tastings of varietals, a full antipasto platter with wine and horseback riding. Gloves, hats, sunblock, insect repellent and a first-aid kit are also provided.

During the full-day Whitewater Rafting along the Wine Route of Mendoza, participants will raft the Mendoza River and partake in a gourmet lunch featuring regional cuisine and wine, visit a winery and experience a tasting of varietals in various tasting rooms. The tour includes transportation, guides and rafting equipment, including jacket, pants, helmets, oars and life jackets.

Rosewood Washington D.C. Reopens with New Experiences

One of Washington, D.C.’s most luxurious urban retreats, Rosewood Washington D.C., recently reopened with new and revamped experiences.

The Island of the Knights

Welcome to Rhodes, a medieval treasure beautifully preserved throughout the centuries. Rhodes is the capital of the Dodecanese, an island ideal not only for those who want to relax, but also for those looking for an action-packed holiday! With its bright green hills, rich green valleys and uninterrupted line of golden beaches, Rhodes is truly a blessed place. “The sun island” has more sunshiny days and milder temperatures throughout the year than any other location in Greece. It is, after all, one of the country’s easternmost places and among the first to welcome summer on its impressive beaches. Add in the excellent facilities for tourism, the island’s special blend of cosmopolitan and traditional, and numerous cultural and archaeological sites, the most important being the Medieval (Old) Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and you’ve got the perfect holiday destination. While on Rhodes, don’t miss a daytrip to nearby Sými. An island of sponge divers and seamen, Sými used to have 30,000 inhabitants before the Second World War and was the richest island in the Dodecanese, despite its small size. Today, Sými attracts many visitors thanks to its beautifully preserved Neo-Classical buildings and the famous Archangel Michael monastery at Panormitis.
