Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by the senseless, devastating act of violence that occurred in Las Vegas this week. Now, more than ever, we need to support the amazing city, community and travel destination. Here are a few of the many reasons we love Las Vegas.

You’ll find everything from celebrity-chef restaurants like Gordon Ramsay, Wolfgang Puck and Emeril Lagasse, to some of the most outstanding street food and low-key eateries in the United States.

Vegas is dubbed the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason. With countless theaters, concert halls, bars, clubs and casinos, there’s never a dull moment. Catch an awe-inspiring fountain show at the Bellagio; Mystere by Cirque du Soleil; star performances by Elton John and Celine Dion; Michael Jackson and Prince tributes; and mind-boggling magic shows like Criss Angel’s Mindfreak Live.

So much of the charisma and magnetism for which Las Vegas is known comes from its renowned collection of hotels and resorts. The city is home to some of the grandest hotels in the world like the stunning Bellagio, the opulent Venetian and the Wynn Las Vegas mega-resort. More than sleeping quarters, these hotels and resorts are experiences in and of themselves.

One of the best things about Vegas is its wide-reaching appeal. Contrary to its rumored reputation as a bachelor/bachelorette haven, the city offers something for each and every visitor. Whether you’re traveling with kids, as a couple, solo or with grandparents, there’s something for everyone to partake in and enjoy.

There are seemingly endless sights to see both within and outside Vegas’ city center. It serves as the perfect home base for excursions to the architectural masterpiece that is The Hoover Dam, the breathtaking Grand Canyon, Red Rock Canyon and other notable natural landmarks in the outlying areas.

Las Vegas is a shopping haven. The famous Forum Shops are home to more than 160 stores, selling everything under the sun from upscale clothing and furniture to local music memorabilia and artwork from around the world. Even if you’re not a big shopper, The Forum Shops complex is worth a visit for its elaborate architecture and awe-inspiring interior.

In addition to the food, entertainment, shopping and sights, one of the best reasons to visit Las Vegas is the wow factor. All of these offerings come together to create an inexplicably memorable travel experience, full of glitz, glamour, excitement and grandeur. We can’t say enough good things about this city, and we can’t wait to visit soon.
