The St. Regis is known worldwide for its cocktail programs, including signature versions of the iconic Bloody Mary at each property around the globe. For the winter season, Venice, Italy’s, The St. Regis Venice debuts its chocolate-infused cocktail, Heat Me Up. Served warm, the cocktail includes blended Italian chocolate brand Domori Chocolate, from Torino.

“This cocktail is a bespoke creation for the winter season in Venice. It is inspired by the classic marriage of rum with chocolate: Following our shaking tradition philosophy, we blended classical elements with contemporary trends. The almond combined with the ginger and the rhubarb provides an unexpected spicy taste to the drink balanced by the smooth flavour of this superb chocolate,” said Facundo Gallegos, bars and restaurants director, The St. Regis Venice.

Hotel mixologists opt for Domori’s Criollo Blend 80%, an award winner from the Academy of Chocolate Awards for best dark chocolate. The drink is served in a signature Ginori 1735 coffee cup.

Heat Me Up

2/3-ounce dark rum

1.75-ounce almond milk

1/2-ounce almond liquor

¼-ounce Nardini rhubarb liquor

1-ounce homemade Criollo chocolate and ginger syrup
