Virgin America teamed up with Rocketrip, a platform rewarding employees for saving money on business travel, to serve shared customers. Under the terms of the new agreement, business travelers can convert Rocketrip rewards into frequent-flyer loyalty program points with Elevate while Rocketrip users can earn bonus points for enrolling in Elevate and flying Virgin America on business trips.

Rocketrip rewards business travelers with points redeemable for gift cards, cash cards and Virgin America perks. Business travelers who convert 5,000 Rocketrip points into Elevate points will receive Elevate Silver Status while those who convert 10,000 Rocketrip points will receive Elevate Gold Status. Perks include seat selection at booking, complimentary upgrades, free checked bags, priority check-in and security and boarding.
