United Airlines announced plans to renovate its space at two U.S. airports, including George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston and Los Angeles International Airport. The carrier broke ground on its new Terminal C North concourse in Houston, its gateway to Latin American destinations. United predicts the new 265,000-square-foot facility will be finished in early 2017, featuring 11 passenger boarding gates. At a cost of more than a half a billion dollars, United will also revamp its Los Angeles space to include renovated ticketing and gate areas and a renovated United Club lounge in Terminal 7. The project is slated for completion in December 2017.

The refurbishment will introduce new Grill Suites, an elevated wellness offering, enhanced retail spaces and refreshed guest areas, while preserving the ship’s Art Deco identity.
