Ride-hailing app Uber announced in March it will add an “auto-expense feature,” allowing travelers — especially business travelers — the ability to seamlessly link their expense accounts with the app.

The idea is reimbursements will be easier, delivered more quickly as travelers expense the trip.

“With Auto-Expense you can link your Business Profile to your expense provider, like preferred partner Concur as well as Expensify, Certify and Chrome River. Next time you ride on your Business Profile a copy of your receipt will be automatically sent for reimbursement,” Uber said in an announcement about the feature.

“We all know filing expense reports can be a pain and most of us miss a receipt every month. At Uber, we strive to ensure our business riders never have to pay out of pocket for expensable trips. With Auto-Expense, you’ll never have to spend time sorting through emails or forget to file an Uber receipt again,” the statement also read.

Uber launched its Business Profiles initiative late last year, which makes the process of dividing your personal and business accounts easier.

The statement points out Uber is popular for corporate travelers; nearly 1 million riders are using the Business Profile innovations, representing more than 200,000 companies.
