The United Arab Emirates announced all inbound travelers are required to carry proof of a negative COVID-19 test to show upon arrival. This requirement will be upheld by all the country’s airports and applies to residents and tourists alike.
The decision was made by the National Crisis and Emergency Management Authority, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Citizens, residents, transit travelers and tourists arriving at any and all U.A.E. airports must have a COVID-19 test with a negative result taken no more than 96 hours prior to departure, regardless from where they are traveling.
Tests must be taken from an approved lab, with a full list available here. Anyone traveling from a country without an approved laboratory on the list can contact their airline for more information.
Only passengers aged 11 and younger and those with moderate to severe disabilities are exempt from the COVID-19 test requirement.
