Mango Treehouse Guestroom

Close to the tropical beaches along Maui’s northern shore, the newly enhanced Mangolani Inn provides guests in search of some quiet Hawai’ian time a serene, laid-back option for lodging. The inn is located in the town of Paia, historically a plantation center. The boutique property has two stories and five unique accommodation spaces: a mango treehouse, three studios of varying sizes and a private four-bedroom house space positioned on the upper level.

The island-style décor has tranquil, spa-like touches such as pebble stone floors in the master bath shower, custom cabinetry and wall art drawn from traditional Hawai’ian life. Kitchens and kitchenettes are upgraded with granite counter surfaces, new appliances and splashy backsplashes. On the private grounds, fruit trees and native flora add to the sense of place — guests are even invited to pick flowers and fruit.
