Your in-flight sleep experience gets upgraded on Condor Airlines, as the airline partners with Lück to offer business-class passengers a newly designed, seven-layer mattress topper. Condor’s business class boasts 30 lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 configuration offering direct-aisle access for each passenger. At the touch of a button, seats convert to a 76-inch-long by 19-inch-wide bed. Lück manufactures high-quality pillows, mattresses, quilts, duvet covers and sustainable products.

Aside from the new mattress topper, Condor also ensures good sleep with other amenities like a premium pillow; a cozy, 6.5-foot blanket; socks; signature striped slippers; a sleep mask; and more. In the aircraft’s “Prime Seats,” passengers enjoy more space and receive signature pajamas and a premium travel kit. Served by an Airbus A330neo, the trans-Atlantic flights feature the whisper-quiet Airspace cabin and its state-of-the-art air system and lighting system. The lights adjust to night-time mode, crafting an environment that lulls travelers to sleep.

The A330neo flies Condor’s non-stop routes from Frankfurt (FRA) to New York (JFK), San Francisco (SFO) and Seattle (SEA). More North American gateways will debut this summer, with Condor’s entire long-haul fleet converted to the A330neo by 2024.

High-Spirited Hong Kong: The Dynamic Hub Embraces Its Maritime History and Culture

It was known as the “Kai Tak heart attack” — the thrilling, terrifying final approach into Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Airport. Airliners were required to bank sharply at the last moment, dodging hills and apartment blocks to line up with a runway jutting out into Kowloon Bay. The airport is long gone, but international visitors are arriving at Kai Tak again, albeit more sedately. Their cruise ships dock smoothly at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, a modern gateway designed by Sir Norman Foster.

Why Japan Is Best Explored by Sea with Princess

Japan is a destination that rewards repeat visits because no two regions — or seasons —  feel quite the same. One moment, you’re wandering through centuries-old geisha districts in Kanazawa. The next, you’re watching neon reflections dance across Tokyo streets long after midnight.
