Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty opened as the third Grand Hyatt-branded property in India. The 264-guestroom property is an urban waterfront resort in Kerala, known for its beautiful beaches and trade history. The hotel boasts striking architecture, luxurious guestrooms, impressive on-site dining and one of the largest event spaces in South India.
“We are delighted to introduce the Grand Hyatt brand to Kerala and grow our brand footprint in the region,” said Sunjae Sharma, vice president of operations for India, Hyatt. “Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty is a spectacular destination resort setting a new standard for living grand in the city. Both inside and out, the hotel’s design, cuisine and grand experiences celebrate the hospitality of Kochi.”
The guestrooms include 38 suites, as well as four villas. On-site dining includes Malabar Cafe, an all-day option serving South Indian cuisine; Thai Soul, a poolside venue serving Bangkok street food; and Colony Clubhouse & Grill, for rooftop, elevated dining with colonial and Arabic influences, plus extensive seafood options and views of Vembanad Lake.
Meeting space stretches across 32,290 square feet, with a grand ballroom and small meeting rooms. The property manages Lulu Bolgatty International Convention Center as well, one of the largest luxury convention facilities in the region.
A luxury spa provides Ayurvedic and international spa treatments. Guests enjoy seven treatment rooms, an indoor swimming pool, relaxation lounges and a hydrotherapy area. Other public spaces include an outdoor swimming pool, children’s pool, amphitheater, exploration gardens, yoga lawn, multipurpose court, beauty salon and three helipads.
Through July 27, a grand opening offer includes complimentary daily breakfast and a spa treatment per stay.
