The Standard welcomes its next European icon, The Standard, Brussels, this spring. Located in lieu of the former World Trade Center, The Standard, Brussels challenges the city’s conventional image through its 200 guestrooms and suites spread across 28 stories, a lounge, bar, three restaurants, and a garden.

Each guestroom and suite features intricate wooden millwork, drawing inspiration from 1970s American and postmodern Japanese architecture, while incorporating elements of 1930s Belgian design.
The ground-floor restaurant, Double Standard, connects to the lobby and offers a blend of Belgian and American bar fare, complemented by a selection of beer. This restaurant lies next to the hotel’s mid-century modern lobby bar, where craft drinks are available. Up on the 29th floor, Lila29 is both a Spanish brasserie restaurant and bar boasting 360-degree views of Brussels.

The Standard, Brussels also marks the hotel brand’s debut of extended-stay suites. Situated on the last two top floors, these accommodations are fully furnished and include a living room, workspace, kitchenette and city views. Guests of these extended-stay suites also have access to 24/7 concierge, weekly housekeeping services, discounts on dining and laundry, and more.
