The St. Regis Punta Mita prepares to host the third-annual Punta Mita Beach Festival July 9–12. The event kicks off with a festive opening cocktail reception in the hotel’s Altamira Lobby.

The three-day extravaganza continues with a number of activities and experiences, including:

• Beach and family yoga
• Surfing clinics for beginners
• Surfing outings to the best waves in the bay for more advanced surfers
• Stand-up paddle clinics
• A mini-triathlon including sea swim, beach race and stand-up paddle
• SUP Bala Tula, a fusion of yoga, Pilates, Budokon, body weight conditioning and stand-up paddle boarding
• A five-kilometer stand-up paddle race departing from Sea Breeze Beach Club
• Marine Safari to Marietas Islands, including snorkeling and stand-up paddle
• Sandcastle championship for kids
• Volleyball tournaments at Sea Breeze Beach
• Cooking lessons with celebrity chef Diana DiMeo

All the instructors leading classes and activities are among the most well-renowned professionals worldwide.

On Friday, lunch is prepared by special guest Chef Olivier Debois, followed by the Children of the Sun supper at the resort’s Carolina Restaurant. A beach bonfire with music and tequila tastings follows. On Saturday, a closing dinner prepared by Executive Chef Gabriel Kolofon is accompanied by beachfront music from local reggae group Los Locos Mezcales. A farewell brunch concludes the event Sunday morning.

Rates begin at $1,290 and include three-night accommodations, a choice of activities and events, and breakfast, lunch and dinner, including non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
