The 5-star Ritz-Carlton, Naples in Naples, Fla., announced a complete overhaul of its 450 guestrooms, suites and corridors, three dining venues and its ballroom, as well as various structural, mechanical and engineering upgrades throughout the property. The resort will not accept any guests during the project, scheduled to begin July 24 and conclude at the end of September. The hotel’s sister property, The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, located 10 minutes down the road, will be open. Guests at the property will have beach access via the complimentary resort shuttle to Vanderbilt Beach, with full The Ritz-Carlton beach services and amenities. “The decision to cease operations for the first time in the resort’s 27-year history is a true testament to our ongoing commitment to product and service excellence,” said Edward V.
