The new Priority Card, essentially an updated version of the Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier Credit Card, boasts new benefits, travel features, more ways to gain points and in-flight savings.
Here’s a breakdown of what to expect:
Users receive 7,500 Anniversary Points, a yearly $75 Southwest travel credit, 20 percent cash back on in-flight purchases (including movies, WiFi and drinks) and up to four boarding upgrades per year.
Much like the Rapid Rewards Card, Priority members receive unlimited points, two points per dollar spent on Southwest Airlines and Rapid Rewards partners (including hotels and car rentals) and one point per dollar on everything else.
Users also enjoy zero foreign transaction fees and A-List tier upgrade; points never expire on open accounts. Card members avoid change fees, their bags fly free and there are no blackout dates or seat restrictions with points on Southwest flights.
