Removing your electronics and liquids from your carry-on luggage may not be the only items you need to unpack and separate in the near future, according to the Transportation Security Administration.
Due to airlines slapping on hefty checked baggage fees, more travelers opt to carry on, which results in a line of people at security with overstuffed rolling bags and backpacks. After trying to fit everything into a carry-on, it is more difficult for TSA security scanners to see through the clutter and identify dangerous objects, resulting in a high number of manual searches, slowing down the line and aggravating passengers.
A new law that would require passengers to separate food from their carry-on bags is being tested at three national airports: Los Angeles International Airport, Boston Logan International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Pending the success of the trial, and once TSA agents have undergone proper training, the new initiative may be rolled out at airports nationwide.

Apr 17, 2024Amansara Review
It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. The mundanities of mass tourism were left behind. We progressed through the chaotic Cambodian streets in regal comfort and soon arrived at a solid gate.
