Loving Fall!
Call me “basic,” but I love fall! My house is decked out in fall décor, from autumn-scented hand soaps and candles to a themed table runner and mantle décor, with mums and pumpkins on the front porch. This morning before logging on, I whipped up my first homemade fall dessert, a caramel apple poke cake, made with apples my husband and I picked last weekend, and we’re heading to the Poconos tonight with friends to take in the glory of the changing leaves. Despite warmer temperatures this week, a crispness returned to the air this morning, and the weekend forecast looks like autumnal bliss.
