Although I think summer went by way too quickly, I am officially ready for the fall season and everything that comes with it.
I cannot wait for fall fashion — sweaters, leggings, light jackets, flannel shirts and more. There is just something so cozy about wearing an oversized sweater when the weather gets cooler. I am also on the hunt for some cute, trendy boots. I haven’t been able to wear two shoes for the longest time due to ankle surgery, so I am looking forward to completing a cute outfit with the perfect pair of shoes.

Don’t get me started on the colors! I love when the leaves begin to change to beautiful reds, oranges, yellows and more. Living in Bucks County, there are plenty of trees surrounding us. Scenic drives and walks are the best ways to catch glimpses of the fall foliage.
My birthday is in fall, and I don’t always make a big deal about it, but I might have a themed event this year. I have a couple theme ideas, but I will have to narrow it down soon.
In October I am going to a wedding at Updike Farmstead in Princeton, New Jersey; the venue looks beautiful. We are staying the night in a nearby hotel where the bride and groom are hosting an after party — I can’t wait!
Here’s hoping we actually get to experience beautiful fall weather this year.
