Starwood Hotels & Resorts continues to expand its eco-wise Element brand with the opening of its second property in Canada, Element Vancouver Metrotown. Located 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver via SkyTrain, the new Element offers 169 light-filled rooms and suites boasting picturesque views of the North Shore Mountains and downtown, modular furniture, swiveling flat-screen televisions, large desks with open shelving, custom-designed closets and spa-inspired bathrooms.

Starwood’s Element brand is the first major hotel brand to mandate all properties pursue the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification for high-performance buildings.
