InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has gone to new heights with the opening InterContinental Davos.
The new hotel is situated high above Lake Davos, offering extensive views of the entire Alpine region. Each of its 216 guestrooms and suites offers a private balcony. Other highlights include a 12,000-square-foot spa, a variety of sports outfitters and activities, avant-garde gastronomy and state-of-the-art conference facilities.
Boasting a futuristic façade of gold-colored steel elements, InterContinental Davos is stunning addition to the landscape at the mouth of the Flüela Pass. Most of the property’s guestrooms face southwest, looking down upon Davos from the hotel’s elevated location. Extensive terraces and private balconies provide breathtaking views of the Grisons Alps.
The spa’s design takes its cue from the Alpine landscape, incorporating natural rock, traces of gold and herbal applications. Dining options include Brasserie Capricorn, Matsu (Asian-Alpine fusion) and the Nuts&Co. lounge. At Studio Grigio, on the hotel’s top floor, guest indulge in culinary delights while savoring an Alpine panorama.
