Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Limited Edition recently debuted Son Bunyola Hotel in Mallorca, Spain. The opening follows the restoration of the 16th-century country estate (finca) overlooking the Tramuntana Mountains. The property joins three existing luxurious private villas on the 1,300-acre estate.
“This is such an exciting time as we launch the first European hotel for Virgin Limited Edition. And I couldn’t be prouder of this passion project that will undoubtedly live up to all of the Virgin Limited Edition values and experiences in one of the most incredible locations in Mallorca,” said Vincent Padioleau, general manager, Son Bunyola Hotel and Villas.
Son Bunyola Hotel is home to 26 guestrooms and suites, including The Tafona, where the estate’s historic olive press was located. Guests may choose from two restaurants, including a Mediterranean restaurant and a tapas concept, helmed by executive chef Samuel G. Galdón. The property’s wellness offerings include two spa treatment rooms, a 90-foot-plus pool, aqua bikes, pickleball, tennis, outdoor yoga, and walks around the surrounding UNESCO World Heritage site.
