Sheraton recently announced the appointment of Sheraton Krakow Hotel as the new Sheraton Grand Krakow, recognizing the property’s superb service, location and amenities. The hotel is the first Sheraton Grand property in Poland. Currently, the hotel is undergoing renovations scheduled for completion by next year. “We are thrilled to build on the brand’s proud heritage in East and Central Europe by launching our first Sheraton Grand in Poland. The Sheraton Grand Krakow highlights our commitment to the Polish market where we already have six successful hotels and plan to further grow our portfolio,” said Michael Wale, president, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Europe, Africa and Middle East. The Sheraton Grand Krakow contains 232 guestrooms and suites, all designed to feature local art and ambient lighting customizable to fit guest needs. The hotel also includes meeting and event spaces and four restaurants and bars. Sheraton Grand hotels are specially chosen from existing Sheraton properties for their world-class features. Sheraton expects to have 100 new Sheraton Grand hotels by early 2017.
