“Improving sleep and reducing stress are two of the most common intentions that we encounter when working with our guests,” said Dr. Vishal Patel, co-president and chief medical officer, Sensei. “For the wellbeing of our guests, it was imperative that we create a new program focused on rest and recovery. In this program, we will equip our guests with the tools to manage chronic stress – all within the safe haven of our Sensei retreats.”
During the five-day program, guests work with the Sensei team and experienced practitioners to analyze their current mental and physical state and develop healthy sleep and stress management techniques. The program includes a personal consultation prior to arrival, access to a WHOOP monitoring device with a 12-month membership pre-arrival, guided and private sessions, two 90-minute spa treatments, unlimited group classes and two post-visit phone calls with a guide to check on progress.

It was known as the “Kai Tak heart attack” — the thrilling, terrifying final approach into Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Airport. The airport is long gone, but international visitors are arriving at Kai Tak again, albeit more sedately. Their cruise ships dock smoothly at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, a modern gateway designed by Sir Norman Foster.
