This summer Seabourn named Seabourn Pursuit in an expedition-naming ceremony at Ngula Jar Island, Australia. The naming marks the first time the Wunambal Gaambera Traditional Owners have named a ship.
Seabourn Pursuit exudes luxury, offering passengers a wide range of expedition activities led by an expert, 24-person team of scientists, scholars, naturalists and more. Guests enjoy access to nearly 30,000 square feet of deck space as well as indoor and outdoor areas with nearly 360-degree views. A 4K GSS Cineflex Camera mounted on the mast of the Constellation Lounge broadcasts imagery from miles ahead on monitors located throughout the ship and in guest suites.
Seabourn intends to work alongside Wunambal Gaambera to share the unique Uunguu Experience, imparting Wanjina Wunggurr culture through welcome and smoking ceremonies, jungba song and dance, rock art tours and art, and stories from Uunguu rangers.
