Just in time for Halloween, an exhibition of works by Norway’s most famous Expressionist painter, Edvard Munch, is open at Kunsthaus Zurich. Through Jan. 12, 2014, Edvard Munch: 150 Master Prints is on exhibit. Shown for the first time together, the display includes large-format works on paper that explore Munch’s signature motifs of hope, angst and despair. More than half of the works are in color, and feature both his first drypoint print and his last lithograph.
Cheer yourself up by booking a room at the luxurious Dolder Grand, with sweeping views of the Alps, the city and Lake Zurich. The hotel routinely earns international awards for excellence in all categories of service, including the extensive spa with a range of European and Japanese treatments and therapies such as Bamboo Shiatsu and the Beyond Tranquility Hydrating Wrap by Kerstin Florian.

It was known as the “Kai Tak heart attack” — the thrilling, terrifying final approach into Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Airport.
