SAS, Scandinavia’s leading airline, and Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, signed a new codeshare to offer customers enhanced travel options between Scandinavia and the United Arab Emirates. Under the terms of the new agreement, SAS will place its SK code on Etihad flights between Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Brussels (BRU), Dusseldorf (DUS), Frankfurt (FRA), Rome (FCO), Milan (MXP), Zurich (ZRH), Geneva (GVA) and London (LHR). In turn, Etihad will place its EY code on SAS-operated flights from these European destinations, excluding Brussels, onto SAS hubs in Copenhagen (CPH), Oslo (OSL) and Stockholm (ARN). The EY code will also be placed on flights beyond Copenhagen to Billund (BLL) and Alesund (AES); beyond Oslo to Kristiansand (KRS), Trondheim (TRD), and Stavanger (SVG); and beyond Stockholm to Umea (UME), Sundsvall (SDL) and Ostersund (OSD).
