Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa expanded and refurbished its spa, with help from interior designer Lynne Beyer.
The Women’s Spa expanded from 12,000 to 13,200 square feet with a new Women’s Quiet Room and steam room double its original size. The Quiet Room is a windowless, cocoon-like room provided as an alternative to the women’s lounge. Design features and artwork emphasize curves and soft colors. Luminescent panels separate 12 chaise lounges, each with a small side table and dimmable lights.
The women’s foyer sports a new color scheme with warm browns and natural tones. Screens create new privacy between the foyer and locker room. The women’s lounge offers additional seating and the locker room, an additional shower.
The Men’s Spa keeps its original footprint, but with all new finishes and furnishings. The foyer features a marble-top game table, club chair seating and backlit lattice screens. The Men’s Lounge features a new color scheme of gray and tan, with leather upholstered chairs and architectural etchings for artwork. Men’s lockers now feature digital locks.
