Rosewood Hotel Group, the managing organization behind several world-class hotel brands, announced last week its plans to manage four new properties in Asia Pacific.
The hotels are set to open 2022–2024, and bring the brand’s intention to increase its presence in the region to the forefront. The expansion is distinguished, according to the brand, by its strong, modern approach and focus on design and integration.
Three of the new hotels open under the Rosewood Hotels and Resorts umbrella. Rosewood Shanghai (2024), Rosewood Shenzhen (2022) and Rosewood Hermana Mayor (2023) are coming to China and the Philippines.
New World Hotels and Resorts is represented in the expansion with the opening of New World Jaipur Resort (2023) in India.
“We intend to double the number of Rosewood hotels in the next five years, from our current 24 hotels in 15 countries, with a full one-third of new properties located in Asia,” said Sonia Cheng, chief executive officer, Rosewood Hotel Group. “China remains a priority and our entry into Shanghai and Shenzhen represents an important expansion of our footprint in tier one cities.”
