Room Mate Hotels has unveiled its newest design-driven hotel, Room Mate Aitana. Located on the IJ River in the heart of Amsterdam, the new hotel builds on the brand’s goal of providing affordable luxury with a stylish, cutting edge design in an idyllic location.
“We are excited to bring the Room Mate Hotels philosophy to one of the most magical cities in Europe,” said Enrique Sarasola, president and founder, Room Mate Hotels. “Guests of Room Mate Aitana will feel like they are visiting a chic friend who just happens to have amazing style and live in the best location that city has to offer.”
In addition to complimentary WiFi throughout the property, the 284-room hotel boasts seven meeting rooms, a restaurant, a lounge, a business center; top-of-the-line fitness facilities and a 60-mooring marina.
Room Mate Hotels currently has two properties in the United States — Room Mate Grace in New York and Room Mate Waldorf in Miami Beach. Over the next two years, the brand plans openings in Istanbul, Rotterdam, Milan, Rome, Bogota, Barcelona and New York.
