The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest opened its doors this month, making it the first Ritz-Carlton property in Hungary. The new hotel is located in the cultural and shopping district, within walking distance from the Danube and many popular attractions. The historic building was originally constructed in 1914 and contains 170 guestrooms and 30 suites. The exterior retained much of its historic charm and stonework, while the interior was remodeled to reflect a more contemporary style. The property offers guests two new dining venues, Deak Street Kitchen, which serves Hungarian-inspired cuisine, and Kupola Lounge, serving light breakfasts and lunches. The spa includes three treatment rooms and an indoor pool and the fitness center is open 24/7.
