Scandinavian Airlines moved its operations at London Heathrow Airport to Terminal 2, also known as the Queen’s Terminal, the new home of all Star Alliance airlines that fly to Heathrow. With all Star Alliance partners under one roof in the airport, the carrier’s new location makes travel easier and more convenient for SAS passengers connecting to flights operated by other Star Alliance carriers.
“We are very pleased and proud to offer the benefits of their state-of-the-art terminal to our passengers who will get easier and faster routes through check-in and security. In the new terminal we also offer a choice of modern check-in methods and a variety of shopping and dining options in spacious, light and airy surroundings,” said Snoree Andresen, vice president of product and development, Scandinavian Airlines.
In addition to SAS, Star Alliance partners serving Heathrow include Aegean Airlines, Air Canada, Air China, Air New Zealand, All Nippon Airways, Asiana Airlines, Austrian Airways, Avianca, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, EGYPTAIR, Ethiopian Airlines, EVA Air, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, South African Airways, SWISS, TAP Portugal, Turkish Airlines, THAI Airways and United.
