Qatar Airways will launch a new all-business-class service from its hub in Doha (DOH) to London (LHR) in May, becoming the first carrier in the Middle East to offer an all-premium product. The Gulf carrier will offer the new daily service from May 15 with Airbus A319 aircraft, featuring 40 seats in a 2-2 seat configuration. Qatar’s business class features wide seats that recline into fully-flat beds and its state-of-the-art Oryx entertainment system, including more than 900 entertainment options. With the additional flight, the carrier’s frequency on its Doha–London route will grow from 35 to 42 weekly services. “The Doha–London Heathrow route is one of Qatar Airways’ most popular international routes and it was only fitting that we introduce an all-business-class service on this key route, where customers will also be able to benefit from our new Qatar Airways premium lounge in London Heathrow’s Terminal Four and of course the Premium Terminal in Doha,” said Akbar Al Baker, CEO, Qatar Airways.
