Qantas and Alaska Airlines are expanding their partnership, benefitting each airline’s frequent-flyer members. There’s already a codeshare in place between the two companies on 15 North American routes.

As of June 26, Qantas added its code to five Alaska Airlines routes, including four from San Francisco (SFO). The Australian carrier will also add its code to daily routes between San Francisco and Orange County (SNA), Minneapolis (MSP), Albuquerque (ABQ) and Kansas City (MCI), as well as between Los Angeles (LAX) and San Jose (SJC).

The expanded partnership includes reciprocal lounge access for top-tier loyalty program members. Qantas members with Gold status or higher and Qantas Club members can enjoy Alaska lounges in LA, Seattle (SEA), Anchorage (ANC) and Portland (PDX) if they’re flying Alaska and connecting to or from a Qantas international flight.

And Alaska’s members with Mileage Plan MVP Gold and higher can use all 13 of Qantas’ International Business lounges and 24 of its Domestic Qantas Club lounges whenever they travel on a Qantas-operated international or domestic flight. Alaska Lounge members can also access the Qantas lounges as part of the expanded partnership.
