InterContinental Hotels Group launched its third property in Portugal, InterContinental Lisbon – Estoril, joining InterContinental Lisbon and InterContinental Porto – Palacios Das Cardosas in Portugal.
“Portugal is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Europe and the signing of this hotel demonstrates the momentum of the iconic luxury brand in key international cities and resorts,” said Robert Shepherd, chief development officer, Europe, IHG. “InterContinental Lisbon – Estoril joins InterContinental Dublin as the latest additions to our European portfolio.”
Located in one of the most elegant tourist destinations in the world, InterContinental Lisbon – Estoril is located west of Lisbon’s city center in the affluent town of Estoril. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the property features 59 guestrooms and suites as well as an all-day dining restaurant and bar, meeting space, indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center and an impressive spa with a sauna and steam room.
