Long a fixture in the St. Germain-des-Pres neighborhood of Paris’ legendary Left Bank, the Lutetia, part of the exclusive The Set property collection, will once again open its doors to luxury guests in spring of this year. First opened in 1910 by the family who founded Le Bon Marche, the grand old hotel underwent a multiyear renovation and restoration, adding contemporary design elements to the existing Art Deco and Art Nouveau features under the direction of architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte.

Changes include suites, signature suites and more expansive guestrooms located on seven floors. A total 184 rooms, including 47 suites, will feature a two-bedroom Presidential Suite and two penthouse suites with private access to wide terraces with stunning views of the city.

Leisure and dining spaces will include a Jazz Bar, the Orangerie, the Salon Saint-Germain and the Salon Crystal. Executive chef Benjamin Brial (formerly of the Paris Ritz, Four Seasons Georges V at Le Cinq and the two Michelin-starred Apicius) will oversee dining operations. Lutetia will also offer guests a chance to unwind in the Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre. The space will encompass six treatment rooms, a sauna, a steam bath, a plunge pool, a swimming pool, an infinity-edge Jacuzzi and a modern fitness center.
