Omni Hotels & Resorts announced plans for a new hotel in Eagan, Minnesota, the Omni Viking Lakes Hotel.
The property includes Nordic-inspired design across social spaces and more than 300 guestrooms and 14 suites. The 14-story hotel also features an all-day restaurant, specialty restaurant and lounge, grab-and-go market, retail outlet, espresso bar, spa, fitness center and indoor pool. Event and meeting space includes 35,000 square feet, of which 7,500 square feet are dedicated to a ballroom. There are six two-story hospitality lounges.
“Omni Hotels & Resorts is growing at a rapid pace over the next few years and our expansion into Minnesota with Omni Viking Lakes Hotel is an important next step in the strategic development of our brand,” said Peter Strebel, president, Omni Hotels & Resorts. “This project will be a true collaboration that reflects the American Nordic local color offering travelers a one-of-a-kind experience.”
The property is currently under construction for a late 2020 completion.
